Moving and significantJan 31, 2010
By Kathryn Liebschutz At a time when our world is in such a state of upheavel and the country of Haiti is suffering so deeply from a natural disaster, this small book has helped me to balance all of this trouble. I am quite familiar with Rev. Adam Hamilton and his writings and he has done an excellent job again of explaining things to us. Thank you for carrying this sort of quality material.

Not as Good as the StudyMar 19, 2010
By C. Bloom The study "24 hours That Changed the World" is excellent. Perhaps because of that my expectations for the devotional guide were too high. There is nothing wrong with it - it just does not pack the same punch as the book and video for the study. It is not necessary for participants to use the devotional guide with the study and if you are on a tight budget this is a place to save.

Good devotional to accompany of stand alone from "24 Hours..."Mar 10, 2010
By fustigate Don't be confused like I was: this isn't a paperback version of "24 Hours..." (I obviously didn't read the title thoroughly enough.) It's the companion devotional.
Each starts with a scripture, has the devotional (often with a story and/or call to act), and an ending prayer.

24 HoursJan 28, 2011
By Belle Drake This book is subtly good. Lots of historical details about Jesus' final week and yet Hamilton challenges us to identify with various characters in the story and gives us cause to think about our own Christian walk.
I got a set of both the hard cover and the devotional to give to each worshipper to have for the Lenten Season.

LentMar 26, 2010
By J. L. Penfold This has been used as a study guide for Lent with 40 devotionals. The book reviews many of the events in the last 24 hours of Christ's life. Adam Hamilton brings a new and fresh perspective on forgiveness and other aspects of Christ's last 24 hours.
