 Enlightening and controversial.Aug 20, 2007

I rarely take the time to write a review of anything, especially regarding such a controversial subject. However Mr. Whyte's book demanded an exception. I thoroughly enjoyed reading his insightful and carefully researched opinions regarding Christianity. I found the style of writing to be engaging and interesting. In addition, the content clearly outlined several interesting concepts regarding fallacies interwoven within the Christian faith. Clearly, the author was not timid in addressing conflicting viewpoints within the faith which I admire and applaud him for. His book is especially relevant with respect to continued division of Christianity during a time in history when perpetuation of the schism between various Faiths approaches an all time high. I enjoyed reading this thought prevoking and well written book and would highly recommend it to my friends and family.

I read this book and it was yet another lack-luster attempt to jab the Catholic Church. It was boring and out of all of the other protestant religions, he did not have to chose the Catholic Faith.
Also, I did not like his style or writing, but that is my own humble oppinon.

This book is truly anointed. It has answered many of my questions regarding the scripture. Questions such as what day is the Sabbath day? (4th Commandment). Did festivals such as Christmas, and Easter originated out of the scriptures or were they imply by men? The words of God said my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge Hosea 4:6. This book has allowed me to truly understand God's will in terms of his commandments. If we intend to obey God regarding his word than we must truly put the effort into understanding his commandments. I am truly grateful to GOD for allowing his servant to write a timely and most needed book in which many questions have been clearly answered and simplified. May the Lord continue to use him in a greater magnitude?

When I am researching something I am interested in or is important to me I like to know the truth on things and this book had alot to say and answered some of my questions on different matters. With God and religion there are so many different views and meaning and this is where most people get into arguments because of this but this book told it like it is and paster Joseph Whyte told it like it is in a gental way that's not over whelming and the hardest thing to hear is the truth and I have read different books in this area and i think the way he explains it makes it easy to understand.

To any one that wants to know the real truth about our God Jehovah and Why? and how the other religious denominations have created lies and continue to do so. Yes! It is all about the money and America's so called religion not any thing to do with God the Father and his precious Son's Blood at Calvary. I highly recommend this book to everyone that really and truly wants to understand man made religion and learn the truth. Only by using, you Guess it the Holy Bible. Happy reading to all and God bless each and every one that wants to know the Savior.
