You can't put this one down. For those who have stumbled through the "Desire of Ages" to grasp it's picture of Christ, you will say "Finally". It's moving, it's uplifting, it will bring Christ closer to your heart.

This modern-day paraphrase of the classic commentary on the life of Jesus called The Desire of Ages (by E. G. White) is a joy to read. I have read The Desire of Ages and Messiah is a faithful update of the language in the original work. It will be enjoyed by anyone who has read the original work, but is ideal for young people (in my opinion) or anyone who wants to absorb the wonderful commentary on the life of Christ without being held back by the archaic 19th century prose. I highly recommend this book. It will help you to fall in love with Jesus as you read the New Testament.
