Outdoor Saint Statues | Home » » » St Joseph Staute, Eco-Friendly EcoJoe, Ready to GIFT! | | | | | | | Description: | | The centuries-old practice of burying a statue of St. Joseph in the yard of a house for sale is supposed to enlist the Saint's aid in finding a buyer. Today, thousands of home sellers and real estate agents continue the tradition of calling upon St. Joseph to help sell their property with successful results.
The EcoJoe(R) Home Selling Kit is a green alternative to the current St. Joseph products on the market, which are mostly made with plastic. As plastic breaks down, it releases toxin into our eco-system, potentially poisoning our food and water.
EcoJoe is made with 100% clay, which is a naturally occurring material composed primarily of fine-grained minerals. That means EcoJoe is eco-friendly and earth friendly. If he is left buried in your yard, EcoJoeTM will not poison the earth. A real Saint would never do that!
In addition, our packaging is printed with soy-based ink on 100% post consumer paper, which means no new trees were harmed and no VOCs emitted during printing process. We also ship green, which means when you order an EcoJoe, the carbon produced through shipping are offset by certified carbon credits!

Finally an Eco-Friendly Solution!Nov 14, 2009
By Diana L. Mercer

I love Eco Joe! We bought one and used it to help sell my mother-in-law's house. The housing market has tanked in Los Angeles (like everywhere) yet thanks to our little ceramic saint we got our FULL ASKING PRICE within about 30 days. Nothing short of a miracle.
This is a really cute gift idea for someone who's selling their house. The packaging is really nice and design-savvy, so while this is only a $15 item it looks much more expensive (and cool). Plus you won't look like a cheapskate who bought a 99 cent plastic St. Joseph.
I like that the statue is completely environment-friendly, too. While I'm not the most green person in the world, the idea of thousands of plastic statues buried in the neighborhood isn't very appealing. All that plastic leaches chemicals which get into the soil and water supply....I love that Eco Joe will disentegrate on his own after the house is sold making room for further prosperity for future owners. It's got to be good Karma.

Excellent Ecological way to Get Your House SOLD! He is the hardest working Saint in Real Estate!Sep 21, 2009

I purchased an EcoJoe statue when selling our first home. I had heard about St Joesph statues from a friend and asked my realtor about it. She said it couldn't hurt! I buried Joe in the yard as per the instructions and read the prayer. We had 2 open houses and got 2 offers within a week after that! Now I'm a big fan of this little investment!
The plus side is that EcoJoe biodegrades in the garden, and the box is recycled paper waste with soy based inks YAY!
I used my box to start some seedlings for our new house.
Plus the packaging and instructions were well designed.

It Worked!Oct 12, 2010
By RossMonkey After our house had been on the market for almost seven weeks we "planted" Eco Joe. Eight days later we had an offer on the house.

Eco Joe's in my front yard...Sep 11, 2010
By G. L. Arhart

Though my house hasn't sold, my husband and I got a kick out of this item. The quality is very nice and the packaging is great...we kept the box because it's so cute. The religious-ness of this particular item has been watered down considerably...more of a novelty than an icon. I thought the included prayer was a bit lame (as prayers go), so found another one online and used that during his head-down deposit in my yard. It would be nice for a little intercession on our behalf, but we had fun doing it and felt like we were doing SOMETHING to help our house sell.

Love the Concept from Start to Finish!Oct 31, 2009
By Sir Oinks A Lot So we wanted a St Joseph statue when we put our house on the market 2 weeks ago, so I did a quick search, and this seems like the only one that is for eco conscious folks. Hey, we need to stimulate real estate sales don't we? The box is recyclable, and printed with soy ink . Love the detail on the packaging and the booklet that explains the tradition and the prayer that you do when you send Joe back to the earth. I wonder how long it takes for Joe to dissolve?
Anyways, we had a busy first open house (of course due to EcoJoe), don't tell my realtor, and we hope to sell our home soon, at a great price.
If we're going to need a St Joe statue, the Green way is always good, isn't it?
