Let me start off by saying that I don't review everything I buy online, but I thought that other people would want to know this if they are interested in this item.
I bought this necklace as a gift for a friend who is gradutating from a peace officer training program. I really liked the fact that the pendent was a unique shape, but still masculine, and that the chain was stainless steel b/c I assumed that it would be a good fit for someone with an active position. Not to mention that the price was right.
When I placed my order, there was a warning that the shipping would take an additional 5 days. Much to my suprise, it arrived maybe 3 days later, and during Thanksgiving weekend. I was really excited when I opened the package because the necklace was really stunning. Something a little different, but the imprint of St. Michael on the charm was clear and very pretty. As I was examining the chain, I gave it a slight tug, to feel the stainless steel difference. THE CHAIN SNAPPED IN TWO PLACES!!!
To make a long story short, I don't have enough time before my friend's graduation to send this back for an exchange, so I can't comment on the seller's willingness to exchange the necklace. I will end up going to the mall to buy a new chain. It's like I paid for just the pendent, which had I seen in person, I would have deemed worthy of 12 dollars anyway... so buyer beware, don't be fooled by the stainless steel chain, this necklace is very delicate.

This was a lovely pendant and an absolutely perfect gift for my boyfriend who just graduated college with a degree in Criminal Justice and who works for a Police Department. He was unfamiliar with St. Michael and was completely amazed when I told him the significance of the pendant.

My mother had me buy this for our future son/grandson in law. He is in law enforcement and she wanted him to be protected on the job. He loved it.
