Like the first reviewer, the pendant and chain had exceeded my expectations. I don't think the photos do it justice. Going by the picture, the pendant looks just a tad dull and I was expecting to replace the chain before I send it to my husband overseas. Once I received it, I couldn't believe how much better the pendant looked and the chain is a very nice quality that does not need replacing (unless you desire a smaller or longer one). Overall, this was an awesome purchase and I would recommend it for those looking to get something nice for a loved one in the Army, especially because of the deployments.

This pendant exceeded all my expectations. I purchased it for my son who is joining the Army. The quality of the pendant and chain is exquisite, the pendant has a raised outline, with a two toned shine on the medal to make the features further stand out. It also has a nice weight to it. The chain is of equal quality that matches the pendant and is of perfect length. The pendant was delivered in a beautiful velvet box, and that was inside another high quality gift box, a very perfect gift.
