The chain that comes with the medal can be used only to wear on your ankle or on the neck of a child under one month old. It is less than 17 inches long. You need 3X this length for a teenager and 4 to 5 X this length for an adult. The medal is what I expected but the chain is a rip-off. You will have to buy another chain.
